Forum navigation

I've been regged to these boards for a while now and I still have trouble finding my way around.
-Number 1 Rule of boards: Board/Forum rules should be on top!
-The whole "new posts" thing doesnt seem to work unless you've visited a topic in a forum (and even then it doesnt work for me)
-Old posts make it annoying to navigate to relevant forums or topics and should be removed (save the really important stuff, they can be stickied).
-Some forums are either useless, can be merged or are on the boards twice

I'll be damn surprised if anybody replies to this.

yea you are right, partially, the new post thing works fine for me

I think it's very clear actually, don't have any problems with things (but then again, I'm a professional forumman xD).

Being an experienced forum user and having made quite a few myself, I also find that there are way too many sections that;

1. Aren't being used at all, and\or already exist in a different section, and are therefore rendered obsolete.
2. Just take up space and make general navigation confusing for those not accustomed to these forums.

My suggestion, as a simple solution to this issue is to narrow the sections down to the absolute necessary ones like the clan\alliance sections and the general sections where people can talk about anything and show screen shots and other things.

Things such as these will make navigating much easier and less time consuming for those either new or inexperienced.
